Location: Tunis, Tunisia
Atelier dada is developing a lighting design project within a heritage house located in the heart of the medina of Tunis, centered on the patio and its finely perforated wooden skylights.
Designed in collaboration with architects Jean de Gastines and Shigeru Ban, the project follows a careful and restrained approach, where light supports the architecture without overstatement.
Filtered through the precise wooden patterns, light reveals volumes, rhythms, and materiality, establishing a subtle dialogue between local anchorage, constructive rigor, and spatial refinement.
A measured intervention, conceived as a sensitive extension of the architectural language.
