Atelier dada designs the lighting for Gheekanta Commercial Market, a commercial building located in the historic textile district of Ahmedabad, within a dense and vibrant urban context.
The project is designed by AAPL Architects for UTC Developers. The architecture features an expressive façade inspired by the movement of colorful textiles shaped by the wind.
The lighting design is integrated into the façade to reveal its forms, rhythms, and chromatic nuances. Light supports the architectural expression and contributes to the building’s nighttime identity while responding to commercial uses and the surrounding urban intensity.
