Atelier dada designs the lighting for the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum, located in Ahmedabad.
The project involves the conversion of a heritage property into a private museum, developed in collaboration with the NID Exhibition Design Team and RMA Architects. It brings together preservation of the existing building, exhibition design, and contemporary architectural interventions.
The lighting design supports this transformation by revealing architectural qualities, guiding exhibition reading, and maintaining a balanced relationship between historical heritage and present-day cultural use. Light contributes to a clear, restrained, and coherent visitor experience aligned with the museum’s identity.
