Location: Paris, France
As a sign of solidarity with Ukraine, the City Hall of Paris’s 18th arrondissement commissioned Atelier dada to design a lighting intervention that was quick to implement and economically restrained.
The temporary illumination of the building in the colors of the Ukrainian flag was conceived as a symbolic and empathetic gesture, using light as a universal language of support and collective expression.
This intervention illustrates the ability of light to convey an immediate message within public space, beyond any decorative purpose, in response to an exceptional human and political context.
