Location: Paris, France
Conceived for Paris and its inhabitants, Lavis de lumière is a white paper and manifesto developed by Atelier dada to reconsider the quality of the urban night and the sensitive relationship between light, architecture, and use.
Resulting from a period of observation, analysis, and projection at the scale of the city, the document outlines a structured vision for a softer, more nuanced, and context-driven nocturnal lighting approach. The white paper was published on Paris-Idées.fr and submitted to the City of Paris representatives (Mayor’s offices) in March 2021.
Lavis de lumière sets out proposals aimed at enhancing both visual and non-visual well-being, while respecting Paris’s architectural identity and addressing contemporary urban challenges.
