Location: Paris, France
Drôles de lucioles is a project conceived by Atelier dada as an aerial light artwork, composed of a constellation of luminous drones, designed to inscribe a symbolic narrative within the Parisian sky.
Imagined to accompany collective moments and shared celebrations, the project explores light in motion as a storytelling medium, carrying signs and figures that evoke a resilient Paris, echoing its historic motto Fluctuat Nec Mergitur.
Technically anchored in the Tuileries Garden, the intervention is conceived to be perceived from several emblematic viewpoints across the city — Place de la Concorde, the Seine riverbanks, and even the hill of Montmartre — offering a collective reading of the nocturnal sky at the scale of Paris.
Accompanied by a sound composition, Drôles de lucioles investigates the poetic and narrative potential of aerial light, situated between urban space, collective memory, and contemporary imagination.
