Location: Paris, France
Conceived for Paris, its inhabitants, and those who move through the city, Pignons de mon enfance is a project developed by Atelier dada as a sensitive tribute to Paris’s blind façades.
The proposal envisions a nocturnal urban walk along the railway lines, revealing these often-overlooked surfaces through an artistic and narrative lighting approach. Through discreet, context-driven interventions, light restores presence and legibility to architectural fragments carrying memory and imagination.
The project was deemed eligible by the City of Paris Participatory Budget services (BP) and was submitted to the vote of Paris residents in September 2023, as part of the Deciding for Paris initiative.
