Location: Saint-Maur des Fossés, Ile de France
In 2009-2010, Atelier dada participated in a mission of public assistance (APP) for the public lighting network of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, a peninsula of 1260 hectares and 100,000 inhabitants, located in the southeastern suburbs of Paris, just 14 km from Notre-Dame.
In collaboration with Jean Sabatier from Lumière Urbaine, Atelier dada conducted a sensitive study of the city, identifying its key areas, urban potential, and opportunities to create a more coherent, desirable, and sustainable nighttime identity. This project demonstrates an innovative approach to transforming the night into a harmonious and environmentally friendly living space.
