Marie-Ikram Bouhlel, founder of Atelier dada, led the second session of the Light and Creativity workshop at MJM Paris, focusing on the fundamental principles of lighting design practice.
Following an initial experimental session, this stage deepened the understanding of light as a spatial language — one that structures use, reveals architectural intent, and creates connections between spaces and their users.
The session combined the introduction of design tools, the study of inspiring references, and a practical exercise, encouraging students to articulate light, architecture and perception within a coherent and sensitive approach.
Through this ongoing workshop, Atelier dada continues its commitment to supporting emerging architects and designers, placing light at the heart of the project, both as material and as narrative.
