Master Lighting Plan for CCBTA: Bringing Radiance to the Five Communes of Terre d'Argence, France
Atelier dada was commissioned by the agency Lumière Urbaine, under the direction of Mr. Jean Sabatier, to carry out a sensitive analysis of the five communes within the Communauté de Communes Beaucaire Terre d'Argence (CCBTA): Beaucaire, Bellegarde, Fourques, Vallabrègues, and Jonquières-Saint-Vincent. Located in the south of France, this region, rich in cultural heritage, seeks to revitalize its public lighting while enhancing its tourist appeal.
With an artistic approach that respects each area’s unique character, Atelier dada developed a lighting plan for each commune, prioritizing key roadways and selecting significant monuments to highlight. Each plan is supported by visual representations to illustrate the proposed nighttime vision, creating an ambiance that enhances the identity of each commune while offering residents and visitors an enriched nighttime experience. The technical assessment of the existing lighting (including the age of fixtures and current illumination levels) and the technical improvement proposals in line with the European standard EN 12301 were managed by another collaborator at Lumière Urbaine .
Through this collaboration, the Master Lighting Plan provides a strategic framework for local officials, guiding responsible management and sustainable development of their lighting heritage, ultimately fostering economic and tourism growth across the region. underline their common agricultural characteristics, etc.
