Funny Fireflies, that constellate the sky

Can we evoke its history with just a few unique touches, anchoring it, through light, in our collective memory? And what if we dreamed of an innovative, resolutely ecological way to symbolically illuminate our heritage?

In this study, we envisioned an unprecedented luminous drone show, inviting Parisians to rediscover the soul of their city. From Paris’s green heart, like the Jardin des Tuileries, this ballet of lights would rise as a colorful constellation in the night sky. This “sound and light” show reimagines Paris’s mental maps in a playful and immersive way. Through aerial figures, it showcases republican values, the city’s history, architecture, the future Paris embracing ecological transition, and symbols cherished by Parisians. Driven by cutting-edge technology, this new type of eco-friendly, sustainable fireworks display forms a moving starry sky, revealing the city’s identity while forging deep connections between Paris and its residents, uniting them in a shared identity worthy of the “City of Light.”
