GOLD SEA FOOD FACTORY
An architecture of light, in service of life
Gold Sea Food Factory is an industrial project entirely conceived by Atelier dada, bringing together architecture, interior spaces and light design within a single, coherent vision. From the very beginning, natural light forms the foundation of the project. It is treated as a structuring material, on par with volume, matter and circulation.
The architecture is designed to capture, filter and distribute daylight with precision. Orientations, heights, voids, porosities and spatial continuities allow natural light to penetrate deeply into the factory, accompanying gestures and making workspaces immediately legible. The relationship between light and perception is central: seeing clearly, sensing the passage of time, and understanding space without effort.
This approach is rooted in an architectural circadian conception, embedded in the building’s design rather than added later. The natural variations of daylight throughout the day shape interior atmospheres, support biological rhythms and contribute to the well-being of users. Time is not neutralized, but made perceptible, anchoring work within a living temporal cycle.
Inside and outside, daylight creates continuity. Spaces are never disconnected from the sky, climatic changes or the presence of the day. Production areas, circulation zones and resting spaces each benefit from specific luminous atmospheres, not decorative, but deeply functional and human-centric.
Here, light becomes experience. A quiet, continuous experience that accompanies bodies, soothes the gaze and gives spatial dignity to industrial work. This light architecture expresses a committed vision: an industry capable of combining efficiency, respect for people and perceptive quality.
Gold Sea Food Factory embodies Atelier dada’s core belief:
an architecture of light designed for life, where the workplace becomes a lived landscape : legible, grounded and profoundly human.
