Illuminating Elegance
Fauré Le Page in Manila — Concept Store
For this warm concept store in natural oak, bathed in daylight and located in the heart of Manila in the Philippines, Atelier dada designed a minimalist and poetic lighting scheme in harmony with the world of the Parisian brand Fauré Le Page.
Designed by the Parisian architects Jean and Hugo de Gastines, the boutique highlights the architecture and singular visual identity of the brand, while enhancing the displayed products through an integrated and elegant lighting design.
Organised around three main zones, the boutique places at its centre a spectacular stylised tree, a true cabinet of curiosities and the focal point of the space. This tree of life, both luminous and enchanting, draws the eye through its trunk illuminated from within, diffusing a warm light. Its foliage, subtly enveloped in a luminous halo, creates a comforting atmosphere and affirms its role as the visual and symbolic heart of the boutique.
Despite a construction incident that temporarily delayed the full completion of this key feature, and consequently its integrated lighting, repairs are underway. New photographs will soon capture the final atmosphere of this exceptional space.
With its printed glass façade on the mall side and crenellated stone façade on the garden side, both aligned with the lease boundaries, the boutique called for a luminous response that would be discreet, inventive, and energy-efficient. Atelier dada therefore designed a bespoke solution combining aesthetic refinement, economy of means, energy efficiency, and ease of maintenance, in order to reveal the architectural details and subtly extend the spirit of the Fauré Le Page brand.
