Subtle Glow

Located in Goa’s central business district, at the heart of Patto Plaza in Panjim, the I STAR – Gopl Imporium V commercial and office complex sits within a dense and active urban environment. Developed by Gera, the building is surrounded by commercial plots and bordered by a canal at the rear, while its main façade faces a strategic vehicular axis serving the business district.

After exploring several lighting concepts, the client selected the approach entitled Éclat Subtil. Inspired by a sense of French Touch, this lighting design emphasizes refinement and precision. Elegant points and linear accents of light gently trace the architectural lines, shaping a discreet yet distinctive nighttime identity that supports the building’s corporate character.

Despite a deliberately limited budget, the lighting scheme was carefully composed to give the complex a unique and memorable presence after dark. Wayfinding and branding were also fully reimagined. The logo, originally flat and printed on a backlit panel, was redesigned as a suspended neon outline mounted on the façade. This contemporary gesture enhances visibility while bringing a subtle French elegance to the building’s visual identity.

Through this balanced approach, I STAR asserts a clear and confident presence, both by day and by night, combining elegance, visual impact and seamless integration within its business-oriented surroundings.
