A Luminous Crossing — Lighting the Cable-Stayed Pedestrian Bridge

Discreet light points integrated along the handrail form a continuous, gentle line of illumination, guiding visitors peacefully from one end of the bridge to the other. Only the faces perpendicular to the pathway receive light from ground-level projectors, while the cables and the upper portion of the pylon, aligned with their geometry, are revealed through carefully concealed luminaires positioned along the deck edges.
