Your Grace
Subtle and Elegant Lighting for Shivalik High Street, mix-use Tower
For the Your Grace project, our nighttime lighting design for the Shivalik Tower sought to enhance the graceful silhouette of this landmark building while expressing its commercial vocation through a poetic dialogue between light and time. Inspired by the idea that time is money, the concept merges illumination and temporality, envisioning each emblematic building as a luminous clock, where every hour becomes a subtle visual celebration.
Rising 36 meters high, the Shivalik Tower combines a commercial ground floor, eleven office levels and two underground parking floors. Its elegant, curving geometry required a restrained and sensitive lighting approach, capable of revealing the architecture without overwhelming it. Designed by INI Design Studio, the building is visible from all angles, calling for a harmonious treatment of its four façades.
Soft grazing light gently reveals the concrete surfaces, emphasizing the fluid lines of the structure. To reinforce the relationship between the building and its urban context, discreet media light lines were integrated along the upper window transoms, concealed beneath the slabs for a refined and streamlined appearance. For most of the night, these lines remain sober and static. At the top of each hour, they briefly come alive with a delicate, star-like shimmer, echoing the idea of time made visible. On festive occasions, the lighting becomes more animated, introducing movement and joy into the nocturnal skyline.
Through this approach, the Shivalik Tower becomes a luminous landmark where architecture, time and light intertwine, offering a calm yet expressive presence in the night.
