Hanging Garden of Eden
Illuminating Zion Prime Mixed-Use Building
Jardin Suspendu d’Eden is a distinctive lighting project conceived for Zion Prime, a mixed-use commercial building located at a strategic junction connecting Shilaj and Thaltej. Positioned at the intersection of a major four-lane road and a residential street, the building enjoys panoramic visibility from all sides, within a district still in the process of development.
The lighting concept transforms the terraces into true suspended gardens, inspired by the legendary Hanging Gardens of Babylon. These planted layers form the visual heart of the project, giving the building a green, contemporary identity that is legible both from afar and at close range. They invite visitors into an immersive environment where lush vegetation and architecture exist in quiet harmony.
Light is treated with transparency and restraint. Luminous points of varying scales are integrated into the main façade, while low-resolution multimedia displays animate the blind surfaces, complemented by subtle lighting accents at architectural intersections. This delicate approach enhances the building’s volumes while remaining intentionally understated.
A carefully choreographed nighttime scenario captures attention in the early evening, gradually fading as the night progresses. Only the “digital cascade,” a symbol of abundance, continues to flow gently until dawn, creating an atmosphere of elegance and calm.
Through this luminous narrative, Jardin Suspendu d’Eden transcends architecture to become an urban symbol of growth, modernity and abundance, firmly rooted in the evolving fabric of the city.
