The Tricolor light Diadem
A Nocturnal Magic for Parisian Town Halls surroundings
In the search for a refined nocturnal visual identity for Paris, this project signed by Atelier dada focuses on illuminating the city halls of each arrondissement, emblematic places of civic life and everyday democracy.
Following a first exclusive luminaire inspired by the tricolor sash encircling façades at waist height, to be discovered through this Link, this second lighting element strengthens the civic bond between the institutions and their citizens, embodying a renewed vision of Parisian nocturnal aesthetics.
This second landmark takes shape around the public street lanterns surrounding each city hall, forming a luminous diadem imbued with subtle mystery. Inspired by the bi-colored sash worn by Parisian officials, this thread of light distinguishes and connects each civic house, appearing only at nightfall when the lanterns are lit, while remaining invisible during the day.
Once night arrives, the lanterns reveal a delicate and harmonious aura around these civic buildings, reaffirming both their symbolic role and their architectural presence. Together, these exclusive luminaires trace a poetic luminous path across Paris, granting the city halls a unique and enigmatic nighttime identity, celebrating citizenship and heritage through a new, timeless light.
